No wins for Ricky in week 9

DIVISION FOUR A
Rickmansworth’s gradual return to form continued as they moved off the bottom of the table with a competitive, but ultimately unsuccessful, battle against Stevenage.Benn Glazier (30) and Ajay Thakur (27) established an opening stand of 59. However, a hat-trick took Rickmansworth to 59/3. Skipper Marty Jaynes' 47 later on enabled the team to finish on 183. Despite 3 wickets each for Jason Phillipson and Mitch Rosam, Stevenage eventually passed the target 8 wickets down, but the 14 points gained were enough to see Ricky move above local rivals Northwood Town.

DIVISION SEVEN A
There were healthy contributions of 49 from Ronesh Nathwani and 42 from Ben Alnutt as a weakened Rickmansworth 2nd XI posted what seemed like a decent enough 193 all out against Letchworth 3rds. However the home side made light work of the reply, knocking off the required runs with 10 overs in hand for the loss of just 3 wickets.

DIVISION TEN A
Rickmansworth 3rd XI remain in mid-table, despite a heavy loss to Hitchin 3rds. Hitchin rattled up 239-9 in 50 overs, with Jack Lee (3-45) and Sean Lindsay (4-35) the pick of the bowlers. Adeel Usman with 27 and Ben Soames with 25 (including 3 big sixes) were the only batsmen to come to terms with the Hitchin bowling, as from 60/2 Ricky fell away to 127 all out.

COLTS
Rickmansworth U13’s qualified for the County semi-finals, despite losing their final League game against Watford Town. Harvey Blackwell and Tahir Hussein both averaged over 100 in qualifying over the 10 League games, and also took the majority of the wickets. They now face home favourites Datchworth in the semi-final this Sunday
