After Maz and Sohail gave the team a great start and base on which to build, a flurry of wickets saw the team in need of some middle order backbone. Luckily this was provided by a stunning half-century by Tahir and a solid 40+ from Curly that put on 80 for the 5th wicket. Tahir in particular went through the gears, depositing a number of maximum's over the boundary. However, once he had gone, the pack of cards collapsed and a number of players will be disappointed to have not contributed as the score fell from 185/4 to 200 all out.
Cockfosters had no such worries and their batsmen cruised to their target with time and overs to spare, only Tahir and Curly taking wickets. 30 extras didnt help the overall cause but it wasn't the bowlers who should shoulder the blame when a score of 250+ should have been the target for Cockfosters. An extra 10% from every player next week and the first win is just around the corner.
