At 35/3, and having lost Jinesh, Yogesh and Prasanth early on, Ricky were looking down the barrel at a potentially low score. However Ronesh and Sam took the game away from Berko hitting anothing loose to the boundary and perhaps even more impressively running lots of quick singles (impressive for Ronesh at least!). Ronesh was eventually out for 81 to a good catch and Sam played an early jug-avoidance card by getting out on 48. A very impressive debut by the young man. A total of 172 was a good post and set berko needing 4.4 an over.
Hanu and Rushil bowled straight enough, but it was the introduction of fast bowler Iles that turned the game on it's head. Within 5 overs Harry had taken 6-19 and ripped the heart out of the Berko batting. Hanumann also took 2 wickets at the other end and only Charles reached double figures as the Castlemen were skittled for just 50. Ronesh swept up the last 2 wickets in 4 balls without conceding a run.
So 30 points gained and maybe a good campaign to come.
