U9 : Chipperfield chopped by Rickmansworth 9's

Rickmansworth Year 4 team posted a League record score of 147 (152 minus 5 runs for a wicket) against Chipperfield and were easy winners at the end of the game. Chipperfield lost 8 wickets to the precise Ricky bowling and ended up around 130 runs short of their victory target. Every Ricky player hit at least one boundary and almost everyone took a wicket as the team jointly coached by Taz, Amos & Anuj took all the practice and skills and put them together in one explosive package. Hamza was the top wicket taker and Kian the top run-scorer in what was, according to all the Ricky parents and supporters, a memorable evening out for all the boys.

The win takes Ricky to 2 wins and 2 losses and possibly a handful of more wins might see them sneak a place in the round of 16. We are all rooting for you boys...
