Rain wins!!

Ricky 1's were hoping to carry on the momentum from last week's win. On winning the Toss the skipper decided that he would like to have a bat but no sooner had Ricky started their innings the rain appeared. very light at first so the match continued, Maz and haily started of steadily putting on 15 runs before Maz was caught at first slip pushing at a ball he should have left alone.

Hailey though looked in supreme form! Creaming the ball straight down the ground, Few batsman are as elegant as the grenade when he is full of confidence and playing in this fashion. Taz joined Hailey and they pushed the score onto 40 at 5 runs per over.

Taz looking in magnificent nick and carrying on the good work from last week, Hailster upon reaching 22 gave 1st slip catching practice and joined his skipper on the bench. Bobby went out to bat and continued the run rate of 5 an over with Taz. Reaching 62 off 13 overs before the rain got too heavy and the umpires came off... that was it for the day!
