First game of the season, Rickmansworth take on a Clifton side that was promoted last year after finishing in 3rd place in the League below. Their results show they have no problem scoring runs, inflicting early season defeats on both the teams who finished above them in the table. Indeed their first game of 2018 saw them make a huge 356/5. They only lost 4 games all season and were one win away from topping the League table.

This will be a stern test for Rickmansworth against a team that comes out of the blocks fast and led the table for the first half of last season. A very good early examination for the boys in green and gold who will have to be on top form to take anything away from the game on Saturday.

Historically, the last time Rickmansworth played at Clifton it was an easy win secured in 2015 thanks to half centuries from Paul, Khamber and a ton from Zawar. It's now time for the next generation
