Few players will remember the 9 all out against Harrow Town in 1847, which is Ricky's record low score. More recent times have also seen low scores, but nevertheless this game will stick long in the memory of those that took part. Only one player reached double-figures. Only one partnership reached double-figures. And possibly at 16/2, Ricky had no idea what was to come.
But from 27/5, Ricky fell to 30 all out. And with 7, the ever faithful extras was the second top scorer. Maybe he needs to be pushed up the order. Perhaps the funniest thing in the scorebook was that this was marked as a 50:50 game. When instead it finished after just 24.4 of the allotted 100 overs with Joe Monk picking up 3 wickets, no doubt sometime before 2.30pm. Time for tea, or was it just a late lunch!
Congratulations to Watford Town
