Due to the increasing demand for places on our indoor cricket academies and because some people couldn’t make certain days of the week this term, we have moved days around and added more sessions so that hopefully more boys and girls can join in. The details of the sessions are below, however it is important that you choose based on your Childs relevant ability and not just the year group. Some older boys are still new to the game, whilst some younger ones are ‘hardball ready’.

Let’s start with GIRLS – the Girls only sessions are on Fridays from the 16th of January and that information will be relayed to you in due course. Girls are also welcome to join the mostly-boys sessions below, especially if they have a brother attending, and everyone will be treated the same.

For BOYS, there are target age groups and also skill levels. If your son is or less experienced or not so confident, then perhaps pick a level down. If they have lots of experience and want to be tested, then perhaps push them up a band. If you have any doubts or questions then please contact me via message (not call) on 07793 294774 before you book. You cannot book and then change you mind, and refunds are not something we can consider as we run this at break-even, so think and act wisely. All sessions last one hour and are restricted to a maximum of 16 participants. All boys (mixed) sessions are at Croxley Danes.

Group A is Wednesdays at 5.30pm. BEGINNERS. This is softball play for years 1 – 3, with fun and games. Older boys will not really fit in unless they are new starters and/or young for their age. Starts 14th January

Group B is Mondays at 6pm. FOUNDATION. The target group is pupils in years 4 and 5. This will be Incrediball and Softball, which is what they play with in matches, however we will start to introduce some hardball as the weeks go by. 19th January start.

Group C is Mondays at 7pm. INTERMEDIATE. The target is pupils in Year 6. This is boys who started hardball maybe last year and are now hardball exclusive whilst learning the game. It may also suit younger boys who have been playing hardball over the last few years. Starts 19th January

Group D is Wednesdays at 6.30pm. DEVELOPMENT. Years 6, 7 and 8 ideally, though again younger and older kids can join if it’s felt this is the right standard. Hardball veterans and those who cannot make a Monday. Starts 14th Jan.

Group E is Wednesdays 7.30pm. ADVANCED. Years 8 and 9. This is the highest level for players who are very capable batters and bowlers and have played numerous league games before. If you are in doubt if your son belongs in this group please ask them or me. Starts 14th Jan

For boys and girls in Year 10 and above, they should be attending nets on Friday evenings. I will be messaging about that to those it affects.
