Rickmansworth Cricket Club, through Bagley Tours is organising a pre-season tour to Lanzarote in March, which will include participating in the Lanzarote International Cricket Tournament (LICT).

Dust off your cricket kit and prepare for the new season away from the incessant cold and rain of the UK and head off with us for a warm week of fun in sunny Lanzarote.

Non-Players and Family

If your playing days are over, or you would like to bring your friends and family you are still welcome to join us on tour and support us both on and off the pitch.

LICT

Taking place at Puerto Del Carmen from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March, the LICT is a Twenty20 tournament consisting of 6 teams from across Europe.

With 3 games guaranteed for each team there will be plenty of good cricket to watch when not participating.

Iteniary

To allow flexiblity we would like everyone to book their own flights as some players may only want to be away for 3 days, whilst others may want to stay for a week or more. As long as you are there for the weekend of the tournament that's all that matters.

Flights

Flights at the moment are ~£100 return, but the sooner they are booked the cheaper they will be.

Ryanair fly to Lanzarote from either Luton or Stansted and Easyjet from Luton and Gatwick. Monarch and NorwegianAir are also good value.

The best place to book is on fly.co.uk, Skyscanner or go direct to the airlines.

Remember you need to book ASAP to get the cheapest flights.

Accommodation

Danny will be able to arrange the accommodation - probably at the Aquarius, which should work out at ~£15 a night per person (based on 2 or 3 sharing). Exact price will depend on numbers.

If you want to arrange your own accommodation you ideally need to be staying in Puerto Del Carmen, in the "Old Town".

Deposit

To guarantee a playing place in the squad we will require you to pay a £50 deposit. This will go towards match fees and daily cricket teas. To assist with the administration of this Richard Harwood has set up an account for the tour only, so please pay your deposit into the following account ASAP:
