About the team

Practice sessions and coaching are on Wednesday nights from the end of April to the end of July. Hardball practice usually involves the nets and the boys will need to bring their own equipment of borrow the club gear. They must wear a ‘box’ whilst batting against a hardball.

On Wednesdays, or for matches, If the weather isnt good enough (and we dont play in the rain) then I will send out a group message on whatsapp. Make sure you join the group if I have not already put you on it.

In Hertfordshire at U13 age group we are in the The second Division (Division B) and the games are 10 a side with everyone batting and bowling. At Rickmansworth it is all about participation as we try to develop the boys skills and capabilities. You don't learn anything watching someone else bowl all the overs or by getting out within a couple of balls.

We run with a small squad, so expect players to take part in at least 2/3rds of the games and probably more For matches, I will need a volunteer scorer and a volunteer umpire. If we can take it in turns that will be great.

Fees are listed on membermojo and include some free 1-2-1 coaching. It covers all training sessions and matches the boys play in. If anyone wants to discuss applying to our hardship grant process, please let me know by way of a private and confidential message. We want everyone to play.
