After Robinson won the toss Ricky started poorly losing Jeza Riddleston for 3. Not a crisis as Vishi Rathi was in early. A good looking batting pitch started to show maybe it was not with Ajay Thakur playing another mis-timed shot to be caught out for 13.

Vishi Rathi was now starting to show his class and why him stepping up into the seconds was a masterful decision from the selectors, as he purred along with his trade mark cuts, dabs and pulls Taz and Raine failed to keep him company.

Vishi reached another 50 looking like he would go all the way when Preest bowled him trying to sweep and we were 95-5 and in trouble.

Preest continued to cause the batsmen trouble but we chipped away with Neil Burdett 9, great cameo from Marc Robinson 32, Ronesh Nathwani 11, Rishi Patel 1, Brett Harvey 9 dragging the team to 145. Raine and Burdett though we were 60 short.

The old stager Marc Robinson and Andy Milner opened the bowling and quickly showed the pitch had plenty in it for the seam bowler as OA's were 24-4 from 7 with a selection of good bowling and poor shots.

With OA's batting starting to unravel the team sensed it could turn them over for under 100. With excellent fielding from Rishi Patel to take two stunning catches OA's were now 59-6. We won't mention the dolly at gully Rishi !!

With Andy Milner running out of puff bowling into the wind on came Brett Harvey to bowl a tight spell and if fit should feature in the seconds in 2014.

Robinson cleaned-up the rabbit's and finished with a six for ! 11-0-35-6 with great support from Andy Milner 7-1-31-2 and Brett Harvey 3.3-0-13-1

A great win to finish the season and hopefully the last time Mark Raine Captain's the second's.
