There were many familiar faces in action at Ricky last night as our Under 15 team won again against Redbourn u15. Bowling first there were wickets for Ethan, Oliver, Orion, Todd and Alec as Redbourn were restricted to 103 in their 20 overs in damp conditions. That over half the runs came in extras was a little disappointing, but the wicket didn’t behave well after a morning of rain.

Ricky’s reply started poorly with Alec Maggi (4) and Todd Austin (2) out cheaply, however 4yth team starlet Keshav Shome continued his good Saturday form with 21 and he was well supported by Ollie (8 – both boundaries of course!). Same Blake got a good ball, before Viren Kapoor (8) and Ethan Greenland (19) saw the team to 104/5 in 18 overs to secure the victory. Ethan in particular has played well the last few games and it won’t be long until he also makes a senior debut I expect.
