5th team lost to Arkley 1sts

With the usual struggle to get 1 players together, Ricky took to the pitch with a group of players gathered from all corners of the club, including friends of Neil! But it was still a decent team that competed well on the Lovely RVC ground.

Ricky batted first and were quickly in trouble at 8/3. However Ronesh with a steady 49 was supported well by Darshan (12) and a quickfire 18 from Adil which comprised 3 scoring shots (you can work that out!). Kanna also scored 21 and Ricky were well placed at 110/6. Sadly a tail end collapse that is a Ricky signature move, saw 126 posted.

In bowling, Adil did well conceeding just 18 runs in 8 overs, but it was the introduction of young Ben that turned the game around 3-12 in 5 overs had Arkley on the ropes on 67/6. However they toughed it out and lost just one more wicket as they edged to a 3 wicket win.

Everyone took part and had fun. Thanks to Neil, Darshan and Ronesh for making it a game and getting the players on the pitch. As tiring as it is, putting out a 5th team we will keep going. Captain volunteers required...
